Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide senior technical leadership and project delivery oversight for flood resilience, stormwater, and coastal/fluvial resiliency initiatives across the Carolinas region.
  • •Mentor and develop staff on the North Carolina water resources team, supporting recruiting and retention to build a strong technical bench.
  • •Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality projects while identifying follow-on opportunities.
  • •Drive disciplined delivery by proactively managing risk and maintaining consistent QA/QC across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • •Support strategic growth by contributing to client/project development strategies and leading end-to-end pursuit activities such as capture plans, positioning, and win strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •15 years of post-education experience in water resources engineering, including at least 10 years in the Carolinas region.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • •Professional Engineering License (PE) in North Carolina or South Carolina.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and inspire cross-functional collaboration, with strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
  • •Advanced proficiency with engineering principles and practices, plus strong technical writing and communication skills.
