Key Responsibilities

  • •Review system specifications to extract test requirements and craft detailed test cases/scripts.
  • •Develop and maintain a repository of functional test cases and artifacts including test data, data validation procedures, and automated scripts.
  • •Collaborate with QA engineers to design comprehensive test plans.
  • •Execute manual and automated tests, document and report outcomes clearly.
  • •Identify and communicate defects to development teams in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance tester
  • •Hands-on testing experience in the Insurance industry
  • •Experience testing UI, Web services, batch-based integrations, and Web portals
  • •Familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Test Manager (MTM) is preferred
  • •Experience with Automation Testing Tools such as HP QTP and Selenium; essential Guidewire QA experience in P&C lifecycle
