Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist Senior Inspectors in roadway construction project duties under general supervision and reviews.
  • •Perform inspections and support field activities on assigned projects.
  • •Coordinate with inspectors and project team to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
  • •Document findings and maintain accurate records using standard software tools.
  • •Contribute to safety, quality, and efficiency on site through effective communication and teamwork.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma.
  • •2 years of related experience in construction inspection, one year of bridge and/or roadway construction inspection, or an Engineer Intern with a Civil Engineering degree having the ability to earn the required qualifications and certifications within one year.
  • •FDOT computer access and knowledge of AASHTOWare PrC Construction and MAC
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
  • •Valid Drivers License
