  • •Scope and track CAPEX projects and ensure energy cost-saving projects are implemented.
  • •Identify and evaluate energy conservation initiatives and set achievable targets for energy management programs.
  • •Liaise with BC Hydro and FortisBC on programs and incentives and represent Canfor at industry group meetings.
  • •Ensure BC Hydro performance contract deliverables are met, support GHG reporting, and advance sustainability initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Registered professional Engineer (P.Eng) or EIT with relevant experience, Certified Energy Manager, or a Master’s degree, or combination of training (electrician, power engineer, mechanical technologist).
  • •Minimum 5 years of relevant technical experience.
  • •Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
  • •Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and report writing skills.
