Job Summary

Support the maintenance, operation, and continuous improvement of navigation engineering and production test facilities. Perform calibration and troubleshooting of test equipment, manage engineering stores and inventory, and carry out electronic/mechanical assembly, cable manufacture/repairs, and rework on PCBAs and cable assemblies. Execute engineering testing activities, maintain accurate test data and build records, and support HSE initiatives and documentation for development and production programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain engineering stores, inventory, consumables, and laboratory assets, while administering engineering equipment and test infrastructure.
•Support day-to-day engineering lab management activities while maintaining 5S standards and calibration records.
•Carry out commissioning and deployment support for test equipment, including selection and procurement activities.
•Perform electronic/mechanical assembly, cable manufacture and repairs, and electronic rework/repair on PCBAs and cable assemblies.
•Execute engineering testing, capture test data/results, maintain build records/SOPs, and support fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, documentation, and HSE initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Foundation Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), Advanced Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 4/5, or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
•2+ years providing calibration and maintenance support in a production, engineering, laboratory, or manufacturing environment.
•Experience working with Motion Simulators or other high-precision test equipment.
•Experience maintaining equipment records, calibration schedules, and technical documentation.
•Experience performing electronic and/or mechanical assembly and supporting troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.

Experience:2+ years

Education:Certification / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology (or related field)
