Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop high-reliability microelectronics packages, cooling systems, and radiator hardware for satellites.
  • •Own materials specification, validation, and process development, including device modeling, performance characterization, and materials failure analysis.
  • •Drive system trades and materials selection through prototyping and manufacturing, using failure analysis to guide improvements.
  • •Build supply chains for materials used in compute and satellite manufacturing and define incoming acceptance criteria.
  • •Specify and implement metrology and test setups, integrating simulation with experimental data to target material or process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, or another engineering discipline.
  • •Experience in microelectronics device research or manufacturing.
  • •Master’s degree in materials science or a similar field.
  • •Exposure to scripting or data analysis tools (e.g., Python or MATLAB) for process data analysis or automation.
  • •Familiarity with manufacturing process development methodologies (e.g., PFMEA, process capability studies, SPC).
