Job Summary

Deliver evidence-based nursing care in a clinical Surgical OPD setting by assessing patients, developing and updating individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring for side effects. Maintain accurate medical records, educate patients and families, and respond to medical emergencies. Perform infection control practices, conduct purposeful rounding, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams while providing guidance to junior staff and nursing students.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring and symptom observation.
•Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
•Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and provide wound care while monitoring for infection and adverse reactions.
•Maintain accurate patient care records and communicate with patients, families, and the medical team for coordinated care.
•Adhere to infection control standards, respond to emergencies using established protocols, and support junior staff and nursing students.

Key Requirements

•Minimum one year of clinical experience (RN residency program applies for those with less than one year).
•Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
•License for practice per the regional health regulatory authority (e.g., SCFHS / DHA) and a license from the country of origin.
•BLS, ACLS, and other LSTC courses as applicable.
•Ability to perform patient assessments and monitoring, develop care plans, and maintain medical records.
