Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape the revenue accounting initiative roadmap by identifying process gaps, risks, and opportunities and scoping/prioritizing workstreams.
  • •Design and standardize accounting processes and controls across revenue streams independent of any single system.
  • •Project-manage revenue accounting initiatives end to end: requirements scoping, sequencing, tracking open items, and driving delivery against deadlines.
  • •Act as connective tissue between Accounting and Data/Engineering, Finance, and Product to translate decisions across teams accurately.
  • •Translate accounting treatment and technical judgment into system requirements and configuration logic for ERP/revenue recognition; investigate data quality/process breakdowns to root cause and document auditable procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of progressive experience across accounting and project management, business/systems analysis, or accounting operations; Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • •Solid understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription/service-based revenue models.
  • •Demonstrated ability to independently scope, sequence, and drive cross-functional initiatives to completion.
  • •Experience designing/standardizing operational processes and controls, plus strong data skills to investigate imperfect datasets (e.g., Excel, SQL).
