Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to and enforce global and local health & safety controls and law-based regulations; maintain records and implement internal/external audit actions.
  • •Support the Real Estate Services Head on H&S policy and country legislative requirements, including risk acceptance/dispensations where needed.
  • •Assess and document H&S risks with the country team and suppliers; develop and manage H&S action plans, inspections, and review programs.
  • •In conjunction with vendor suppliers, conduct emergency drills and oversee H&S related activities in Facilities Management and Capital Projects.
  • •Provide Operational Management support including governance, risk/control implementation (e.g., FCC, BCP, information risk, records, supplier management), audit and regulator visit preparation, and budget planning/reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Acted as a Safety Officer (minimum Safety Officer 2; SO4 preferred) and/or has a relevant health & safety qualification or degree.
  • •Knowledge of H&S legislation in-country and experience ensuring compliance to a recognized safety standard in a similar organization.
  • •Experience in Facilities Management (Safety Officer 2 preferred) and highly experienced budgetary real estate management for at least 10 years.
  • •Good understanding of internal control and operational risk in a real estate context, with experience implementing risk policies, processes, and controls.
  • •Experience supporting H&S compliance activities including documentation, audit remediation, and coordination with teams and suppliers/vendors.
