Job Summary

Seasoned Real Estate Portfolio Manager responsible for monitoring, overseeing and reporting on a ~€1B real estate portfolio (hospitality-focused) with SPVs, third-party managers and direct investments. You’ll challenge assumptions, drive governance, prepare IC-ready insights, and coordinate with asset operators, fund managers and advisors in a fully remote, globally distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as primary interface for portfolio monitoring and governance across third-party managers, SPVs and directly held assets, reviewing monthly reporting, tracking key metrics and escalating deviations.
•Actively challenge underwriting assumptions (cap rates, rent growth, occupancy, development budgets) using market data to validate or dispute projections.
•Oversee SPV liquidity, budgets, cash flows and capital calls; provide timely escalation to Investment Committee and Treasury as needed.
•Conduct site visits for active development projects, review cost-to-complete estimates and risks, and maintain a project-level risk register with mitigants.
•Prepare monthly/quarterly IC reports and dashboards, delivering scenario analyses and investment memoranda to support capital commitments.

Key Requirements

•8–12 years of progressive experience in real estate investment management, asset management, or closely adjacent field (fund of funds, real estate private equity, or institutional asset management)
•Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing a real estate portfolio of significant scale (ideally >€500M in aggregate value)
•Strong track record with closed-end/open-end real estate fund structures, LPAs, governance frameworks, capital calls, distributions, and GP/LP dynamics
•Experience overseeing SPV structures, directly held investments and third-party operating partners, with governance, reporting and capital allocation understanding
•Ability to oversee and challenge external fund managers, operators, development partners, and advisors; hospitality real estate exposure preferred and weighted heavily
