Job Summary

Oversee day-to-day middle office trade support for equity and credit activity, including trade capture/affirmation, corporate actions processing, and reconciliations across markets, custodians, and prime brokers. Investigate and resolve breaks, coordinate with trading desks and portfolio managers on settlement fails and pricing issues, and support improvements to trade flow and related documentation. Assist with private deal processing (DWAC/DRS) and ad hoc support for P&L inquiries, plus operational onboarding of new counterparties.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee day-to-day operational processes for equity/credit trading, including trade capture and affirmation across markets and custodians.
•Process corporate actions (dividends, splits, mergers, rights issues) and ensure timely, accurate updates in internal systems.
•Perform cash and position reconciliations with prime brokers and investigate and resolve breaks.
•Coordinate with trading desks and portfolio managers on settlement fails, discrepancies, and pricing issues.
•Support private deal processing and DWAC/DRS flow, plus maintain/improve trade flow processes and provide ad hoc P&L support.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience in investment management or fund operations.
•Experience at a hedge fund, asset manager, or prime brokerage.
•Working knowledge of custodian and prime brokerage relationships.
•Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP; macros a plus).
•Experience with order management/portfolio management systems (e.g., Bloomberg AIM; FLEX a plus).
