Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify opportunities to improve frequency, coverage, connectivity, and customer outcomes of public transport networks.
  • •Use data and spatial analysis to develop service planning recommendations.
  • •Develop strategies to encourage public transport use using customer travel behaviour knowledge.
  • •Support integrated transport and land use planning to connect public transport with growth areas, centres, corridors, and places.
  • •Prepare reports, presentations, and advice; monitor and evaluate service performance and contribute to public consultation and stakeholder workshops.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in public transport planning, ideally bus networks, service planning, integrated transport planning, or network strategy.
  • •Experience in major event service planning, or interest in service planning for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
  • •Strong analytical skills to interpret service data, travel patterns, demand, land use context, and customer needs.
  • •Experience working with government clients, transport authorities, or local government stakeholders.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and strong written and verbal communication skills.
