Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform a subset of hardware engineering activities applicable to mechanical engineering, analyzing mechanical needs via studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, and prototypes.
  • •Describe mechanical functions, requirements, and the development plan, and elaborate the data package to transfer to production.
  • •Develop and propose technical, technological, and methodological choices in line with the approved mechanical architecture and design.
  • •Collaborate with production and procurement to produce cost-effective, easy-to-manufacture mechanical design solutions.
  • •Monitor, plan, and organize mechanical activities, measure and report technical progress, and ensure design compliance with target costs and lead time.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
  • •6–11 years of experience in hardware development, specifically mechanical engineering.
  • •Strong technical background in mathematics, science, and computer science, with knowledge of mechanical laws, norms, and standards.
  • •Proficiency with mechanical design tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, SmarTeam, Creo, PDMLink, Siemens NX, AutoCAD) and CAD deliverables (drawings, BOM, data management).
