Key Responsibilities

  • •Attend roadside assistance calls, assess situations, diagnose faults using modern tools, and repair at the scene wherever safe and possible.
  • •Make practical safety-led decisions on repair versus recovery; when needed, arrange professional recovery and dealer workshop attention.
  • •Own each job end-to-end by communicating clearly with customers, setting expectations, and providing reassurance.
  • •Operate and maintain a fully equipped van, manage tools and parts, follow safety procedures, and keep accurate notes in company systems.
  • •Meet service, safety, and quality standards while working efficiently toward targets, using AI/data-driven tools responsibly.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience as a vehicle or roadside technician who can work independently at the scene and make decisions on the spot.
  • •Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using modern equipment to identify issues quickly and choose the safest route to get customers moving.
  • •Confident, calm customer communication to manage expectations and prioritize safety as the roadside point of contact.
  • •Comfortable using IT, mobile apps, and diagnostic software for accurate data capture.
  • •Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a fully equipped van; relevant technical qualifications, including EV credentials or willingness to complete EV Level 3 IMI and ATA Level 3 roadside diagnostics training.
