Job Summary

Own operational relationships with Wise’s key global banking partners and turn partner-performance issues into measurable improvements. Monitor speed, reliability, incidents, SLA gaps, risk signals, fees, and operational costs across Swift, EUR, and GBP payment flows. Partner with internal teams (Payment Operations, Banking, Product, Engineering, Treasury, Finance, Legal, and risk/control) to build data-driven improvement plans, drive incident follow-through, and enhance operational visibility across Wise.

Key Responsibilities

•Own operational relationships with key global banking partners, including regular performance reviews, escalations, and action follow-up.
•Drive partner performance by monitoring speed, reliability, incidents, SLA gaps, risk signals, fees, and avoidable operational costs.
•Create partner improvement plans by translating complex issues into actions with owners, next steps, timelines, escalation paths, and expected outcomes.
•Hold partner banks accountable for operational commitments across SLA performance, incident resolution, responsiveness, and long-term fixes.
•Support incident and post-incident corrective action follow-through, ensuring root causes are understood and repeated problems are addressed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 3,750 - 5,100 monthly

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in banking operations, payment operations, partner/vendor management, risk management, operational excellence, or a similar field.
•Deep understanding of payment operations and banking partner relationships, ideally including global payment rails such as Swift, EUR, or GBP payment routes.
•Highly data-driven approach to investigate issues, form hypotheses, size impact, and build evidence-based cases for action.
•Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence internal teams and external partners without direct authority.
•Comfort working in ambiguity and communicating clearly when translating complex operational issues for different audiences.
