Key Responsibilities

  • •Enable secure, scalable, and reusable enterprise API services across a global technology ecosystem, supporting integration and communication between systems.
  • •Develop and manage API solutions using Google Apigee, including API proxies, shared flows, traffic management, analytics, and policy enforcement.
  • •Implement API security and governance concepts (authentication/authorization, OAuth 2.0, throttling, rate limiting) to ensure secure service exposure.
  • •Build and support resilient API platform capabilities such as API catalogs, developer enablement, monitoring, observability, and analytics.
  • •Create architecture diagrams and technical documentation, and collaborate with architects, application teams, infrastructure teams, and business partners to modernize and evolve API platforms.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of hands-on API design, development, and enterprise integration delivery experience.
  • •Strong experience designing, developing, securing, and managing APIs across on-premises, SaaS, cloud, and hybrid ecosystems.
  • •Proven end-to-end API lifecycle delivery (planning, design, development, testing, deployment, publishing, and support).
  • •Deep hands-on experience with Google Apigee API Management/Gateway, including API proxy development, shared flows, traffic management, analytics, and policy enforcement.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering (or equivalent practical work experience) and ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
