Job Summary

Supervise non-exempt employees to meet daily performance targets at a distribution facility. Administer policies and coach teams on regulatory, safety, and legal requirements. Manage costs by tracking against ABP and analyzing safety costs versus production goals. Lead production workflow using multi-warehouse systems, set objectives and daily tactical plans, and develop performance measures to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise non-exempt employees to achieve daily performance requirements.
•Administer policy and procedure within legal guidelines; coach teams to adapt to new ways of performing work while ensuring safety standards are followed.
•Manage costs by tracking against ABP, providing input into projected plans, conducting cost analysis, and evaluating safety costs against production goals.
•Manage production workflow using multi-warehouse systems, directing workflow through warehouse systems using computer control commands and understanding downstream impacts.
•Facilitate objective and strategy setting with daily tactical planning, budgeting, workforce requirements, performance measures, and scheduling daily activities to maximize resources.

Key Requirements

•2–3 years of supervision experience, or a B.A./B.S. level of education, or other related equivalent experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
•Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills, including clear written expression and active listening with feedback.
•Ability to resolve conflicts/disagreements to create win-win outcomes while being sensitive to others’ perspectives.
•Demonstrates an understanding of the order fulfillment process and facility policies/procedures.
•Intermediate PC skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook; ability to learn warehouse systems such as SAP, WCS, Red Prairie, TranMan, and Laser Print.
