Key Responsibilities

  • •Enhance and maintain foundational platform and infrastructure tools and systems used across Monzo.
  • •Work hands-on with Kubernetes cluster management and cloud infrastructure, including AWS infrastructure and growing GCP footprint.
  • •Use Terraform and automation to manage and deploy resources, integrating robust primitives and open-source components.
  • •Build and maintain backend services that abstract and orchestrate infrastructure to provide a self-service experience for other engineers.
  • •Develop software for infrastructure migrations, high-scale traffic management, and security tooling.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 65,000 - 80,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •A solid foundation in practical software development with a focus on writing, testing, and deploying robust backend services.
  • •Enthusiasm for working with AWS and/or GCP and experience working with Kubernetes.
