Job Summary

Perform routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical work, including designing, testing, troubleshooting, and assembling electronics and electro-mechanical systems. Use schematics and technical documentation to execute test and checkout activities, compile test procedures/logbooks, and support prototype and NPI installations or field upgrades. Conduct mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/vacuum and process testing on AMAT platforms while following safety standards, reporting hazards, and generating quality notifications. Weekend-shift, full-time onsite role in Austin.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
•Troubleshoot system- and component-level electrical and mechanical issues, and support system installations, NPI, and field upgrades.
•Execute routine testing and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, and technical layouts/plans.
•Maintain safety standards, follow operating instructions, use protective equipment, and report accidents and hazards.
•Become familiar with current manufacturing/engineering processes and assist in correction of problems, including rework as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 21.5 - 29.2

•Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems across electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
•Work from schematics, diagrams, and written or verbal descriptions to perform routine testing and troubleshooting.
•Compile test procedures documentation and logbooks, and generate quality notifications.
•Meet physical and workplace requirements, including safe operation in potentially noisy environments and (if required) clean-room PPE use.
