Key Responsibilities

  • •Own major aspects of the fraud and identity verification model development lifecycle, including data acquisition, integrity assessment, model development, documentation, and implementation assistance.
  • •Develop and maintain monitoring, performance reporting, and change-management processes aligned to business objectives.
  • •Ensure model development projects and processes comply with Truist model risk management requirements and other policies.
  • •Assist with mentoring and training to accelerate model development techniques, processes, and business knowledge.
  • •Serve as a core point of contact for model questions, including working with assurance providers, supporting regulatory examinations, and addressing requests.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant experience developing, documenting, implementing, or validating quantitative models in a financial domain.
  • •7+ years of model development experience using SAS (or other applicable model development software/programming tools).
  • •Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • •Ability to distill complex mathematical concepts into actionable results.
  • •Advanced degree (or equivalent experience) in Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, or related applied quantitative sciences.
