Join the Pegasus Physical Verification System team to design, develop, profile, and optimize application software for DRC, LVS, FILL, and PERC. Build data analysis and debugging tools for performance insights, tackle geometric/topological optimizations on large databases, and collaborate with distributed teams to deliver robust physical verification software for semiconductor design.

Key Responsibilities

•Involve designing, development, profiling, and optimizing application software for Design Rule Checking (DRC), Layout Versus Schematic (LVS), Advanced FILL, and Programmable Electrical Rule Checking (PERC).
•Develop data analysis and debugging tools for performance analysis and data-driven optimizations of geometric and topological operations for physical verification applications.
•Troubleshoot and debug physical verification software on large, complex databases.
•Collaborate with multiple geographically distributed teams to test and enhance advanced functionality.
•Apply strong programming skills and a growth mindset to learn and adapt to changing requirements and technologies.

Key Requirements

•Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python; knowledge of algorithms and Software Engineering fundamentals
•Experience with UNIX and/or LINUX platforms
•Experience in software development, preferably in EDA; knowledge of Physical Verification (DRC, LVS, FILL, PERC)
•Educational qualification: Master/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with Microelectronics/VLSI Design or related discipline
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills; collaborative mindset
