Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate and erect assigned tasks using various metals including stainless steel, galvanized metals, and black iron.
  • •Set up and operate welding and fabricating equipment to complete jobs based on blueprints, sketches, or verbal orders.
  • •Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, sketches, and work orders, performing close-tolerance welding to print/layout requirements.
  • •Examine parts for defects and measure components for conformance with specifications using tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • •Perform related machining tasks (e.g., drilling, tapping, broaching) and maintain tools and equipment in a safe, clean, orderly manner.
