Operate a forklift to load and unload material on trucks and rail cars. Move products between storage and work areas, break packs to correct size, and label items prior to loading. Maintain accurate shipping and receiving paperwork and complete required checklists. Perform general preventive maintenance, keep the yard organized and clean, and support safety and continuous improvement programs under immediate supervision.

•Move products from storage to work areas and vice versa as required.
•Break packs to correct size and label materials before loading.
•Provide general preventive maintenance and complete preshift startup equipment checklists.
•Maintain an organized and clean yard and complete required paperwork, trash, and wood hopper duties.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED (GED preferred but not required).
•Successfully complete the Forklift Driver licensing process.
•At least 18 years of age.
•Prefer 6 months to 1 year of experience driving a forklift or operating similar equipment.
•Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques (preferred).
