Key Responsibilities

  • •Design drainage layouts for runways, taxiways, aprons, landside roads, and ancillary facilities.
  • •Perform hydraulic and hydrological calculations, including rainfall-runoff analysis and sizing for culverts, channels, and pipe networks.
  • •Model drainage designs and integrate them with airfield grading plans to meet pavement requirements.
  • •Ensure designs comply with ICAO Annex 14, FAA AC 150/5320-5D, IS codes, and DGCA guidelines, including flood risk and climate resilience work.
  • •Support project execution with drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical review inputs during construction and issue resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; master’s in water resources/hydraulics preferred.
  • •2–3 years of proven experience in drainage design, including at least 1+ year on airport/airfield projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater management.
  • •Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, SewerGEMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or MIKE URBAN.
  • •Familiarity with ICAO, FAA, DGCA, and IS standards and other relevant guidelines; strong analytical and report-writing skills.
