Key Responsibilities

  • •Review plans and specifications and develop accurate cost estimates for Trane materials, subcontractors, non-Trane equipment, labor, and other construction-related activities.
  • •Provide facility-related solutions and guidance to assist account managers in bidding projects.
  • •Determine project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet HVAC system design and installation requirements.
  • •Coordinate selection, pricing, and integration of equipment, controls, and services with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • •Prepare, finalize, and review preliminary/final proposals and equipment submittals; support proposal pricing, selling strategy, schedules, and bid data updates.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business management preferred; minimum 3 to 5 years of estimating, project management, engineering, HVAC, or construction management experience.
  • •Equivalent combination of education and relevant estimating/engineering/construction experience is acceptable, including candidates without a 4-year degree.
  • •Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • •Ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines with attention to detail.
