Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement scalable marketplace financial workflows bridging hyperscaler portals and core finance systems, including automated handling of Private Offers and custom metering.
  • •Integrate hyperscaler APIs and marketplace management platforms with core finance systems, and own the financial data model for marketplace transactions feeding reporting warehouses.
  • •Define and uphold financial process standards for deferred revenue, gross-vs-net revenue accounting, and ASC 606 compliance for marketplace deductions and listing fees.
  • •Build scalable transaction-level reconciliation models to match hyperscaler disbursements and remittance advice with internal sales contracts, ensuring accurate tracking of listing fees and handling third-party reseller data.
  • •Partner with Finance, Product, and Partner Operations to prepare finance/accounting operations for new marketplace product offerings and lead UAT and SOPs during launches.

Key Requirements

  • •8–10+ years of experience in accounting operations, financial systems, or tech-sector management consulting.
  • •5+ years of experience managing marketplace financial operations, billing infrastructure, or billing reconciliation for apps sold through AWS, GCP, or Azure Marketplaces.
  • •Proven experience leading large-scale software integrations or Q2C transformation cycles in a B2B SaaS or enterprise tech environment.
  • •Deep familiarity with cloud partner portals (AWS, GCP, Azure) and marketplace monetization middleware (e.g., Tackle.io).
  • •Advanced knowledge of enterprise ERP and revenue recognition systems, such as Zuora RevPro, and strong SQL/BI skills to work with unstructured billing data.
