Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead accounting, finance, treasury, tax, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; develop financial strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • •Oversee regulatory reporting and compliance, including timely preparation of state MTL financial reports and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
  • •Establish and maintain financial controls for customer asset protection, including custody, segregation, reconciliation, and safeguarding of customer fiat and digital assets.
  • •Maintain and improve the internal control framework over financial reporting, including monthly/quarterly/annual close processes and accounting policy implementation.
  • •Manage annual financial statement audits, coordinate with external auditors, and support SOX readiness and internal control enhancements where applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • •CPA strongly preferred.
  • •Minimum 5+ years of strong accounting experience or equivalent senior finance leadership in a regulated crypto/fintech/payments/broker-dealer/banking organization.
  • •Experience managing financial reporting for regulated entities, including state Money Transmitter License (MTL) call reports and regulatory filings.
  • •Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and experience designing and maintaining effective internal controls; experience leading annual financial statement audits.
