Job Summary

Oversee all financial operations for Webull Pay, a regulated cryptocurrency subsidiary, serving as the internal CFO for regulatory purposes. Lead accounting, treasury, tax, budgeting, forecasting, regulatory financial reporting, capital planning, and internal controls. Manage audits and SOX readiness where applicable, strengthen customer asset protection controls for fiat and digital assets, and partner with executive leadership, compliance, legal, risk, operations, and external regulators to support growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead accounting, finance, treasury, tax, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; develop financial strategies aligned to business objectives.
•Oversee regulatory reporting and compliance, including timely preparation of state MTL financial reports and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
•Establish and maintain financial controls for customer asset protection, including custody, segregation, reconciliation, and safeguarding of customer fiat and digital assets.
•Maintain and improve the internal control framework over financial reporting, including monthly/quarterly/annual close processes and accounting policy implementation.
•Manage annual financial statement audits, coordinate with external auditors, and support SOX readiness and internal control enhancements where applicable.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 115,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•CPA strongly preferred.
•Minimum 5+ years of strong accounting experience or equivalent senior finance leadership in a regulated crypto/fintech/payments/broker-dealer/banking organization.
•Experience managing financial reporting for regulated entities, including state Money Transmitter License (MTL) call reports and regulatory filings.
•Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and experience designing and maintaining effective internal controls; experience leading annual financial statement audits.
