Key Responsibilities

  • •Prep vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing.
  • •Use state-of-the-art tools in Carvana’s Inspection Centers to prepare vehicles for cosmetic paintwork.
  • •Support reconditioning schedules to ensure vehicles are delivered when expected.
  • •Work mandatory overtime when required based on business needs.
  • •Complete training programs to progress skills and pay in an entry-level position.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
  • •Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools, including lifting up to 60 pounds independently.
  • •Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • •Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and be exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
  • •Use safety equipment such as face shields/goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments.
