Key Responsibilities

  • •Modify/adapt K12 curriculum aligned to state content standards to meet students’ unique needs.
  • •Collaborate with general education teachers through individualized and small-group sessions to meet targeted goals.
  • •Educate parents on instructional strategies and support implementation of RTI to increase student achievement.
  • •Oversee data collection and progress monitoring across RTI tiers; maintain RTI data, intervention plans, and use data to guide instruction.
  • •Coordinate Tier 2 interventions with homeroom teachers, advisors, counselors, and district personnel, and provide ongoing training and support to staff on RTI and data procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Active Arizona teaching license for High School Special Education.
