Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee accounting operations (general ledger, AR, AP, inventory, payroll) and prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.
  • •Manage and execute month-end and year-end close, including balance sheet account reconciliation and coordination with an external CPA firm for tax filings.
  • •Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital, including AR/collections, AR aging analysis, and customer credit policy improvements.
  • •Own inventory and cost accounting: inventory reconciliation, valuation/costing, and reporting on variances and shrinkage with process improvements.
  • •Establish internal controls and ensure compliance with state/local regulations; optimize Sage 100 usage and implement process improvements/automation to improve efficiency and reporting.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience as a Controller or equivalent role in a small to mid-sized business.
  • •Strong distribution, beverage, or consumer goods industry background.
  • •Hands-on experience with inventory and cost accounting, including inventory valuation and reconciliation.
  • •Experience managing accounts receivable, collections, and cash flow, including improving AR aging and credit policies.
  • •Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting with ERP experience (preferably Sage 100).
