  • •Determine and develop approaches to achieve test and evaluation goals for a small UAS/quadcopter.
  • •Support or lead test planning, establish measures of success, and coordinate test activities.
  • •Conduct system and sub-system test activities, including ground and flight testing of hardware and software.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years sUAS flight test engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
  • •Working knowledge of the National Airspace System and UAS operating rules and regulations.
  • •Experience with energetics, explosive hazard handling, and Electronic Safe-Arming Device (ESAD) operations (preferred).
  • •Strong understanding of SUAS/quadcopter engineering concepts, codes, and theory, with broad application of those principles.
  • •Ability to quickly learn new concepts, coordinate phases of work, and determine the right approach for complex problems.
