  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems, including road testing to confirm malfunctions.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and maintain the company-issued service truck, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document work according to standards: complete DOT forms and repair orders, upload photos, and use the company iOS device and TRAIT application.
  • •Lead complex repairs by triaging issues, managing concurrent tasks, and communicating with management/support for approvals and repair estimate discussions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 5 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination such as 3 years with additional discipline certification/degree, or 7 years in a related field).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File; must be at least 21 years old.
  • •Pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical requirements (or submit an eligible DOT medical card).
  • •Required certifications to obtain within 18 months: ASE T8 (PMI) and ASE 608/609.
