Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand and apply layout guidelines (standard cells, I/O memories), new process rules, and technical requirements to produce quality layouts.
  • •Schedule timeline and perform layout floor-planning.
  • •Complete quality layout and verification within the planned schedule without supervision for experienced engineers.
  • •Ramp up quickly on new methodologies, contribute ideas, and communicate effectively with the library team.
  • •Support memory layout tasks including physical verification and, when needed, lead or train junior engineers and contribute to layout methodology documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong layout knowledge with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience.
  • •Experience with Cadence layout and Cadence schematic capture, using CALIBRE and Hercules verification tools.
  • •Experience with digital (standard cell, memory, I/O) layout in submicron processes (e.g., 16nm through 1.4nm).
  • •Experience with memory layout design and physical verification including LVS, DRC, ERC, Antenna, and Electro Migration in CMOS.
  • •Analog layout experience is a plus.
