Key Responsibilities

  • •Own collection performance for the assigned geography and bucket(s), monitor portfolio movement, and execute collection strategies.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2–5 direct reports; set expectations, review productivity/performance, and drive team targets.
  • •Manage 3–6 collection agencies, ensure capacity and productivity, drive resolution outcomes, and maintain quality/compliance.
  • •Own resolution and recovery targets; analyze MIS and key collection metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
  • •Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, company policies, and the collections code of conduct; collaborate with operations, risk, legal, analytics, and agency teams to resolve dependencies and improve outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong understanding of the collections business and relevant collections metrics (e.g., resolution rates, flow rates, bounce rates, recoveries ROR, NC/skip ratio).
  • •Knowledge of regional/state customer profiles, including risk perspective for local districts and pin codes.
  • •Demonstrated ability to know and manage local collection agencies and drive agency performance.
  • •Ability to explain and ensure adherence to the code of conduct for collections, and understand its importance.
  • •Proficiency in the local language.
