Job Summary

Lead high-voltage and EHV transmission line projects across the full lifecycle, ensuring technical, schedule, quality, and financial performance. Partner with a multidisciplinary team to manage budgets, forecasts, KPIs, risk contingencies, and contractual obligations, while reporting monthly status and key issues to clients and internal leaders. Develop stakeholder strategies, support contract negotiations and client presentations, and provide performance guidance to assigned staff within WSP’s Power & Energy Program Management team.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide PM leadership for high voltage and EHV transmission line projects, overseeing detailed design, budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, risks, and contractual obligations.
•Develop and maintain strategies to engage project stakeholders and report progress to clients.
•Support and sometimes lead contract negotiations and client presentations.
•Provide verbal and written inputs to multidisciplinary project teams and contribute strategic advice to clients.
•Manage and provide performance guidance to assigned staff, including leading project kick-off meetings and conducting project closeout and lessons-learned activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
•10+ years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role.
•3+ years leading engineering and/or construction teams on medium to large electrical utility scale clients for high voltage and/or extra high voltage transmission line projects.
•Knowledge of project management processes and tools, including contract management, earned value management, change management, risk management, schedule management (CPM/Primavera P6 or equivalent), and financial management.
•Advanced communication, analytical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills to manage project delivery and guide teams while adhering to QA/QC and workplace safety policies.
