Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide synchronous and asynchronous instruction and support for students in an online environment.
  • •Differentiate instruction based on student mastery and augment course content using prescribed tools under guidance from a principal and coach.
  • •Maintain grade book, ensure academic integrity, and make placement and promotion decisions while alerting administrators to concerns.
  • •Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches and provide timely support and basic troubleshooting for curricular and instructional issues.
  • •Travel occasionally (about once per month/approximately 20%) for in-person professional development and student testing as required by the school.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and an active state teaching license.
  • •Missouri High School Math Teaching Certification required, or an appropriate math certification in another state with ability to obtain MO licensure within 60 days.
