Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate machines and equipment to cut, bend, shape, shear, punch, drill, and/or test raw materials, parts, components, and/or assemblies.
  • •During the introductory period, learn core processes and support safe, clean, well-organized production practices.
  • •Make proper adjustments to machinery and/or equipment with assistance to meet productivity and quality expectations.
  • •Produce quality parts within acceptable scrap rate and identify/troubleshoot part-production problems with assistance.
  • •Follow standard work and use basic documentation practices (examples include ISO, Windchill, Kanban, and TKSs).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED, with ability to read and understand TK prints for the department.
  • •Ability to use measuring equipment for the specific department.
  • •Ability to take and pass the Minimum Qualifications Test with a desired score of 70% or better.
  • •Demonstrate ability to set up and run basic operations with assistance, with an introductory level focus on learning the process (successful completion of 6 months).
  • •Ability to learn, understand, and adhere to standard work while maintaining safety, quality, delivery, and cost expectations.
