Key Responsibilities

  • •Install and qualify manufacturing equipment.
  • •Perform on-site service, maintenance, and timely repair of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Solve day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems and troubleshoot line issues.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • •Meet one qualification path: associates degree in a technical discipline; or 2+ years machine/mechanic experience; or 1 year First Solar technical experience; or 6 months First Solar EMT Associate experience with EMT proficiency rating of 5+.
  • •Verifiable electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting/repair skills.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot and solve equipment and process issues on the manufacturing line.
  • •Self-directed with minimal supervision, strong written/oral communication, and ability to handle administrative and technical tasks.
