Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the next iteration of FX platform services, developing and automating both new and existing capabilities.
  • •Design new services and components in collaboration with team members and engineering leaders using the RFC process.
  • •Coach and mentor less experienced team members to improve team effectiveness and efficiency.
  • •Lead product initiatives from discovery to delivery with close alignment to product and operational teams.
  • •Take full ownership of products you build, including ongoing maintenance, and support 24/7 reliability via occasional on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience developing complex software systems, mainly with Python (or other OOP languages).
  • •Experience in FinTech or banking, with strong understanding of financial systems in regulated environments.
  • •Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, written and spoken.
  • •Proficiency in constructing and managing services, including standard APIs, monitoring/alerting, and integrating external systems.
  • •Experience working with legacy code and improving workflows to reduce technical debt, with testable code supported by unit and integration tests.
