Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end agency certification for assigned Industrial Control product lines, from gap assessment through file approval and ongoing maintenance.
  • •Respond to certification questions, engineering change requests, and agency inquiries; determine applicable standards and define required test/evidence plans.
  • •Track certification tasks, submittals, and audit actions through closure with owners and due dates; manage multiple concurrent certification programs and escalate risks early.
  • •Serve as certification gatekeeper in NPI/NPD programs by embedding certification milestones and reviewing designs/components/materials for certifiability.
  • •Act as primary contact for certification agencies, lead follow-up/plant audits, resolve nonconformances with corrective actions, and proactively renew certifications ahead of expiration.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •5+ years of product design experience.
  • •Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now and in the future.
  • •Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility listed will be considered (Active-Duty Military exempt).
  • •Knowledge of UL/NEC/IEEE/CSA and other codes and standards, including interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings.
