Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document programming on assigned applications to satisfy business requirements for business areas.
  • •Convert existing SAS code into high quality SAS code that is efficient (fast), automated, maintainable, and follows industry best practices.
  • •Engage with client team supplying input for key design and architecture decisions work estimation and resource planning.
  • •Work with external groups such as database and Support teams to solve issues related to applications.
  • •Work with QA to define test plans and write Level-one feature tests.

Key Requirements

  • •7-13 years of SAS experience developing, configuring, and administering SAS solutions.
  • •Develop and maintain SAS programs using Base SAS, Macro, PROC SQL, and SAS DI Studio.
  • •Create reusable macros and automated reporting solutions.
  • •Optimize existing SAS jobs for performance and scalability; experience with scheduling with LSF Platform Suite built into SAS.
  • •Design and develop ETL workflows using SAS Data Integration Studio; extract data from multiple banking systems, transform and cleanse customer and transaction data; load data into enterprise data warehouses; Unix file-system and shell scripting.
