Job Summary

Own the company-wide performance management agenda within Talent Development, from end-to-end performance cycle operations (goal setting through review and feedback) to governance of criteria and guidelines. Serve as the primary contact for performance management inquiries, triage issues, and coordinate stakeholders. Collect, visualize, and analyze performance data to share insights with senior management, and translate review outcomes into learning themes with the L&D owner.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and run the end-to-end performance cycle (goal setting through execution, review, and feedback).
•Develop performance criteria, rules, and guidelines, ensuring consistent application across the company.
•Plan and manage performance cycle execution to ensure on-time completion and coordinate stakeholders.
•Prepare review processes (self-review, manager review, calibration) by organizing required inputs and materials.
•Collect, analyze, and visualize performance data; identify drivers of challenges and execute improvement actions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: JPY 7,500,000 - 11,000,000 monthly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required; Master’s degree preferred.
•2+ years of experience in Performance Management and/or Talent Development; consulting experience is a plus.
•Strong program/operations management skills to run annual performance cycles (tracking, reminders, coordination, follow-up).
•Strong documentation and process discipline using SOPs, FAQs, templates, and checklists.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English, including the ability to handle sensitive people data appropriately.
