Job Summary

Create and coordinate electrical 3D models and sectional cuts for large- and small-scale projects across mining and process infrastructure, oil & gas, and water treatment. Draft and design electrical deliverables (including single line diagrams, panel schedules, motor schematics, and wiring diagrams) while applying North American standards and electrical codes. Work cross-discipline to perform 3D clash detection, support quantity take-offs, and build tools/APIs for Autodesk workflows with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute electrical engineering designs from concept to completion with minimal oversight.
•Create and coordinate electrical 3D models and sectional cuts using Autodesk tools.
•Convey electrical, mechanical, civil, and structural requirements through 2D/3D models and deliverables.
•Draft and design documents such as single line diagrams, panel schedules, motor schematics and wiring diagrams, lighting, grounding, conduit drawings, and general arrangements.
•Perform 3D model clash detection and plant layout work; support quantity estimation (MTO take-offs) from models and drawings.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related field), or education substituted for substantial relevant experience.
•10+ years of relevant experience.
•Expertise in a lighting design tool such as DIALux or Agi32.
•Strong proficiency in ACC, BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and/or Plant3D.
•Sound design and 3D modeling skills for industrial/mining/process plant layout, including electrical design and detailing.
