Job Summary

Support the venue’s sustainability program by helping with pre-, mid-, and post-show waste sorting for recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials. Work show days and non-show days to help achieve maximum landfill diversion, maintain and clean the sorting area, and support educational outreach for fans and venue crew under the Venue Sustainability Manager. This is a seasonal, part-time role with varied hours based on the show schedule.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in Venue Sustainability Crew onboarding and training.
•Assist in the mid- and post-show waste sorting process for recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials.
•Help ensure all waste is sorted and diverted by being available for show and non-show days.
•Provide educational support to venue crew members and fans alongside the Venue Sustainability Manager and Supervisor.
•Maintain a clean sorting area and support post-show pickup, including occasional scheduled shifts on days after a show.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 15 - 18 hourly

Key Requirements

•Ability to work show days and non-show days on weekdays and weekends as needed for event schedule.
•Perform physically demanding tasks (walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting/carrying 50+ lbs) with significant time spent sorting materials.
•Comfort with getting dirty and working around unpleasant odors.
•Ability to work outside in variable weather and manage time to arrive on time and work late hours.
•Experience in events/zero waste events is a plus; maintain a positive, team-focused attitude.
