Job Summary

Build and deploy generative AI systems for TikTok monetization and content understanding within the Business Integrity team. You’ll research and improve LLMs, multimodal models (text/image/video), and deepfake detection/synthesis, then productionize advances with low-latency, cost-effective AI services. Work on agentic capabilities with reinforcement learning, and optimize large-scale training and inference using techniques like distillation, quantization, and speculative decoding.

Key Responsibilities

•Research and develop generative AI technologies, including LLMs, multimodal models, and deepfake detection/synthesis, optimizing across pre-training, SFT, RLHF, and AI safety.
•Design and deploy AIGC solutions for content understanding and monetization in ads, e-commerce, short video, and live streaming.
•Advance LLM-based agents using reinforcement learning for autonomous reasoning, planning, and interactive capabilities.
•Improve efficiency of large-scale model training and inference using techniques like distillation, quantization, and speculative decoding.
•Collaborate cross-functionally to productionize research breakthroughs with robustness, low latency, and cost-effective AI services.

Key Requirements

•MS or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
•Solid experience in deep learning, NLP, and generative models, including LLMs and diffusion models.
•Hands-on experience with large-scale model training, RLHF, and multimodal learning.
•Proficiency in PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow, and familiarity with distributed training frameworks.
•Knowledge of AI safety, alignment, and adversarial robustness (preferred).
