Job Summary

Define and deliver next-generation computing platforms for semiconductor Process Diagnostics and Control tools. Translate R&D high-level design needs into hardware specifications, evaluate and engage vendors, and own the NPI review cycle from KO through ECO. Manage bill of materials, author technical deliverables, validate performance and compatibility, and lead transitions from engineering to manufacturing—while serving as the computing hardware authority across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Translate R&D high-level design documents into hardware specifications for computing platforms, including CPU, memory, storage topology, networking, and accelerator integration.
•Research and evaluate vendor platform solutions, lead vendor engagement (RFQs and technical reviews), and negotiate customization requirements.
•Own the full structured NPI review cycle (KO → PDR → CDR → DVR → FDR → ECO), including technical content, scheduling, and gate deliverables.
•Define and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and produce technical deliverables (requirements, selection rationale, validation test plans, manufacturing transfer packages).
•Execute validation and productization: benchmarking, stress testing, thermal characterization, driver/firmware/OS compatibility checks, and transition to manufacturing with production support.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•BSc or BA in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
•5+ years of hands-on experience with computing hardware platforms (x86 server architecture, CPU/memory/storage configuration, RAID, networking hardware, and GPU/accelerator integration).
•Ability to define hardware specifications from functional requirements, translating software workload needs into server configuration decisions.
•Experience engaging with computing hardware vendors in a technical capacity, including evaluating platforms and customizing configurations.
•Familiarity with structured design review gates (e.g., PDR/CDR) and strong BOM management/configuration control discipline.
