Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead production-grade customer technical projects, designing and building reference architectures, custom applications, and data ingestion with ML/AI model integration.
  • •Guide strategic customers through transformational big data and AI implementations, including end-to-end design, build, and deployment, with engagement managers to scope delivery.
  • •Own architecture and design decisions to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
  • •Collaborate with Databricks technical teams, project managers, architects, and customer teams to deliver engagement technical components meeting customer needs.
  • •Embed with customer teams, provide implementation guidance and training, bootstrap or implement customer projects, and deliver product/implementation feedback to engineering and customer support.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms/analytics, or software engineering.
  • •Comfort coding in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript with modern frameworks.
  • •Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
  • •Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark (including Spark runtime internals) and familiarity with CI/CD.
  • •Working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs, including designing and deploying production end-to-end data architectures and applications.
