Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and optimize AI/ML modules for wireless signal-processing functional blocks in the Phy and Mac layers of Aerial SW.
  • •Conduct literature surveys to understand prior art for AI/ML in RAN.
  • •Analyze and identify suitable ML architectures and complexity for each functional block.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize OTA performance and compute complexity with DevTech and other NVIDIA business units.
  • •Benchmark OTA performance improvements with AI models, and iteratively train, test, and modify model architectures to improve performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Full-time PhD student doing research in AI and Wireless domains, able to intern for at least 6 months or more starting in the last week of January 2026.
  • •Thorough understanding of wireless Layer 1 and Layer 2 functions and algorithms.
  • •Strong grasp of AI/ML concepts and current developments.
  • •Deep understanding of Transformers, CNNs, and other ML architectures and their use cases.
  • •Hands-on experience simulating signal processing algorithms in MATLAB and Python, plus programming skills in C/C++.
