Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a day-to-day two-way liaison for Japanese enterprise accounts, representing engineering to customers and customer needs to engineering.
  • •Own L2/L3 troubleshooting across VPN, zero trust access, cloud web inspection, CASB, DLP, firewall policy, and AWS/Kubernetes connectivity.
  • •Collect and analyze logs, packet captures, and metrics; create escalation packages and customer-ready summaries from the same facts.
  • •Run scripted health checks (Bash/Python) for tunnel/IPsec status, DNS paths, and IP pool utilization; perform packet capture and basic analysis to narrow issues.
  • •Support upgrades and migrations with pre-checks, smoke tests, rollback planning, bilingual customer communication, and documentation (runbooks/known issues).

Key Requirements

  • •Fluent Japanese and English for technical communication (written and spoken).
  • •5-7 years in network/security operations, customer support engineering, or professional services.
  • •Solid TCP/IP (IPv4/IPv6), DNS, routing, NAT, IPsec tunnels, and TLS fundamentals.
  • •Working knowledge of VPN, zero trust, web inspection in the cloud, CASB, DLP, and firewall policy.
  • •Hands-on troubleshooting comfort with packet capture and structured troubleshooting (Wireshark/tcpdump), plus Bash scripting (Python a plus).
