Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and grow the planning consents service for Ireland.
  • •Lead major development applications across the Republic of Ireland and provide strategic planning advice to clients and internal teams.
  • •Ensure projects are delivered successfully on budget and within programme timelines, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
  • •Oversee planning consents team deliverables and implement/uphold quality assurance and health and safety principles.
  • •Contribute to business development by nurturing client relationships and leading preparation of commercial tenders to secure new opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant relevant experience leading planning consent applications in Ireland for large infrastructure projects across consenting regimes, ideally in energy, transport, or rail.
  • •Proven experience in Irish planning consents and project management.
  • •Expert witness experience would be advantageous.
  • •Strong client focus with good interpersonal skills and a collaborative working approach.
  • •Degree in Town Planning (or related discipline) plus membership of the Irish Planning Institute, Chartered Member of the RTPI, or equivalent professional body.
